‘Let’s adopt a trail’ is an alliance of public and private organizations aiming to regain parts of the natural environment which went lost for the lack of public resources needed for their maintenance.
Old paths connecting one small village to the other, and once used as daily roads, are today abandoned and not walkable, though having the potential to become an irresistible attraction for mountain bikers, trekkers and horse riders.
The Valle dell’Aterno citizens have already adopted most of these trails. They take care of them, and control them, thus taking on common good.
